As I have said before, this was no treaty and Iran signed nothing. Now there is news that Obama told the Congress and public one thing, and did another.

Well, I guess to conservatives that proves that lying is okay. Right?
Let me guess. This is going to be this week’s “Oh, but Obama did it too!” story, where we take something innocuous and routine (OMG! The Clinton Foundation spent money from donors on Charities I Don’t Like!) and make it seem like a scandal? And it’s going to take front and center to make sure we don’t spend any time investigating actual crimes by the GOP and Trump administration?
Oh, look. Right wingers are upset that Obama did something legal. Must be a day ending in “y.”
You can use whatever word you wish. Obama has done this before to the public. If you like your doctor you can keep him. Sound familiar?
But telling Congress and the public he won’t be doing it, then intentionally doing is when it comes to a matter of billions with a foreign nation who really doesn’t like is telling.
Are you really okay with him acting and doing this, Snowboarder?
I’ve kept my doctor.
So it’s OK if the President lies, as long as it is about something legal? Hmmm…
Regards,
Shodan
Not everyone was able to, and the boast that health insurance cost will go down under Obama careturned out to be completely false.
But back to the point of the thread, telling our elected officials in Congress that he won’t be doing it, then doing something else that involves billions?
OK. So…should we focus our attention of fixing the problems that failed to arise from that element of the deal, or on preventing new actual offenses from the guy who currently has the job? I don’t mean to threadshit, but who cares about Obama any more?
The theory of Scott Adams about two movies on one screen is strong in this thread.
Thanks to Trump, most of our allies are angry with us, Iran’s hard liners are much stronger and more powerful, and Iran has a much easier path to a nuclear weapon. If he had remained with most of US’s allies in sticking to the terms of the JCPOA, Iran’s hardliners would be weakened and Iran would have a much harder path towards nuclear weapons.
Thanks for making America weaker, Trump.
I didn’t say I was okay with it.
What I am saying is that IMO you and many others will try and use this to justify your support of Trump’s lies (and the lies of those around him), with exactly the logic I proffered in my earlier post.
Besides, it’s really Bricker’s job to point out “liberal hypocrisy” around here.
I find it rather refreshing that an administration would engage in sly conduct in an effort to avoid war.
Bricker has not been a participant in this thread and introducing him in this fashion is bordering on being a jerk. If you want to take a shot at other posters, especially those that haven’t participated in the thread - the Pit is the place to do so.

What does this have to do with Trump?
As far as doing what he was campaigning on, Trump has been pretty consistent with his efforts. More than just about anyone I can remember. He’s not influenced by polls, or the media.
I tend to judge a politician on what he does not what he or she says. In this case, Obama very questionable deal with Iran is in the spotlight with new information.
Did you just say that Trump wasn’t influenced by the media? Did you actually say that?
Well, that tears it! I won’t be voting for Obama in 2020.
And yet, from your OP
Do you care about what he said, or not?
What?!? . Donald" My Ratings" Trump, Donald “Crowd Size” Trump, Donald “Daily Tweeterhea” Trump??.. that Trump?!
You can’t be fucking serious.
This is great news!
Iran to boost uranium enrichment if nuclear deal fails
Good thing that deal fell through.
