I’m surprised that nobody has asked for a cite for this guy rejoining the Taliban. OK, sure, we know that he joined the Taliban after his release, but did he rejoin? That implies that he was a member before, as well. Do we know that?
And he’s only one of, what, 61? (the number kept changing throughout the campaign) of people Cheney released from Gitmo who have since returned to “terrorist activities”. Just imagine what a *liberal *administration will eventually do with the rest of 'em, huh?

That said, accusing the current president of creating a problem in the thread title when the facts are that the problem was created entirely, (both initial capture and eventual release), under the previous president has little to do with opinions or debates and much to do with promoting ignorance and flames, so this thread is closed.
Topics related to the release of persons held at Gitmo are fair subjects for discussion.
Making false accusations in an OP are not.
