I just take it as one of the flaws of the matrix or a angel took it for some reason, no biggie they always return it with interest.
I’ve tried this with something I knew to be there but could not see, I closed my eyes and just review what I saw and everything seemed to ‘pop’ into it’s proper position, the funny thing is while I was looking the harder I looked to more it was clear it was not there.
This is happening to me right now. I made three pages of name tags for some kids I work with (always takes me awhile to learn their names when we start up in the fall; name tags help a lot). I printed them just now, and put three pages of labels in the special slot in the printer, which is in another room. I printed the labels … and there are two pages. The first page, and the third page. There are not two pages stuck together - I made my husband check - there is no page on the floor near the printer, and there is no page stuck inside the printer or on the glass (it doubles as a scanner/copier).
I feel like I am losing my mind.
If the second page shows up, I’ll let you know where within the time and space vortex it appears.
The quarters I leave in the elevator grate keep disappearing. Maybe they’ll return one day.
I had this happen to me once. I lost the thing that connects my camera to my tripod. It was a trapezoidal piece of black plastic with a screw in it. Every time I wanted to use my tripod I looked all over the house to find it. After a year or so of not being able to use my tripod, I finally ordered a replacement from Amazon. Two days later I glance at my file cabinet and there it is sitting next to some papers. The file cabinet was black and I guess it blended in and my eye was blind to it.
