Joe Buck doesn’t really bother me that much. I liked him on the radio filling in with the Cardinals, and I loved his dad with the Cardinals.
McCarver, on the other hand, is about as bright as a blown light bulb. I sometimes wonder if he’s gone completely senile and no one noticed. They could replace him with a random guy off the street and get more insightful analysis.
During the ninth inning, they explained the ramifications of Cleveland’s loss about three times in a row - after already talking about it in previous innings. They explained it, finished, then explained it all again, almost verbatim, and I guess the third one was for good luck. The hell?
Yes, and while they did it, they failed either to notice or to care what was going on* right then * on the field.

I seriously do this when the dickhead brothers are doing the play by play.
Tune the radio to the game, and get the added bonus of hearing the play on the radio, and 3 seconds later, the ‘live’ shot. Something to do with blah blah blah…someone explained it here once. Transmission speed of TV signals and radio signals. Something like that.
I don’t know if they will be back doing any Yankee games, at Yankee Stadium but, if so, I guarantee one of them will solemnly say…Ya know? This is the house that Ruth built. EVERY TIME!
