Yes, those are literal meanings of “pica,” but there was also an idiomatic expression: “black pica,” meaning “typed” or “printed” (please see Dr. Strangelove’s posts dated Nov. 10, above).

If you watch the clip (link in original post), you’ll see that the British characters I was referring to are not Rocky and Bullwinkle, but little British (human) chaps.
