I’d like to emphasize regnad kcin comments. My own name can be spelled Mehdi, Mahdi, Almahdi, Almehdi,Elmahdi and Elmehdi. This is due to the different alphabet of Arabic where the letter “Alif” sounds between the french “A” and “é” . That would be equivalent to the A and E in the words “Ah” and “Elrond” respectively in english
