Obvious things about a creative work you realize after the millionth time (OPEN SPOILERS POSSIBLE)

I think that I always realized that she was supposed to have been shot by the plane. But you’re right, the way it was filmed, it really did look like she bonked into the tree and knocked herself out.

^ You weren’t even in that episode!

It looks like him, and he was after all an actor, but IMDb doesn’t credit him for it.

(It’s a joke. I thought a rather obvious one! :yum: )

True, but my library has very complete information!

^ Still up to your little game of replicas? Which are you this time, real or not?

Don’t do that! I sent a screenshot of that to a film buff friend, asking if he knew about this, before you admitted it wasn’t true. Now I have to apologize, and he’s going to pillory me to our friends.

Couldn’t you say you’re kidding right away? A spoiler in the same post, maybe?

I think I’ll just say nothing, hope he never opened my email, and wait for Schrödinger’s cartoon anvil to fall on my head…

Yeah, it didn’t seem too implausible to me that a then-obscure Ukrainian actor might pick up a bit part like that. What he was doing in the States for filming, I don’t know, but that’s a minor detail.

Oh, I thought that actor only looked enough like him to be mildly reminiscent of Zelenzkyy.

I asked the mods to tag the post. I didn’t mean to cause confusion, figuring the end of the Sopranos was 15 years ago. My apologies.

Kind of implausible that the president of Ukraine was involved in one of the biggest TV shows of its day, and this is the first place you’ve heard of it. No way that wouldn’t have been included in all those stories about the political comedy show he did before he got elected president.

Also, that guy looks like Zelenskyy aged up about ten years, and is from a show that ended fifteen years ago.

See, it’s a time- traveling President Zelenskyy.

Rick and Zelenskyy

Hasn’t Rick stated that he doesn’t time travel, he just travels between dimensions? Although if that’s the case, why does he have a box on the shelf in the garage labeled “Time Travel Stuff”?

That was when he went to the time-travel dimension, I guess.

He doesn’t do it because he thinks it’s stupid not because he can’t do it.

There was one episode where he showed Morty what happens if you use time travel.

Was that the one with the snakes or a different one?

Snake jazz is my new jam.

There’s two episodes in the same season. One has time travel and the ludicrousness of the Terminator stuff cause ‘terminator snakes’ just keep appearing until they can get it right. And in another ep Morty thinks he’s resetting time in a kind loop-back thing, but he later finds out he’s just travelling to another dimension and getting a lot of Morty’s killed and such.

Just realized ‘spaz’ is (supposedly??..I guess) short for spasms.

I always just pictured the muppet Animal when I thought of spaz. Who I never thought of as having spasms but more like a kid high on sugar.
