obviously gay christian men in the closet...

Predictably, Dopers responded with “Who is she?” when I posted on Facebook that I’d be attending church one Sunday.

They need to know the Lord Jesus better to be set free of the closet. To rise above what is holding them back and not to be afraid of what others may think of them, knowing that God Loves them as His child. Also thoughts that many people are living under fear who are Christians, and rarely does others in Christianity help, usually in my experience pastors and the like just help keep them in bondage, such as Jesus said of the Pharisees, Luke 11:46, (or Luke 11: 37-53 for context).

Wait, you know dopers via facebook, and I’M NOT ONE OF THEM?

Twickster, Mustard, MeanOldLady, Alice the Goon and I are a regular Fab Five on Facebook.

Huh huh… he said “penal.”

Banning in 3… 2… 1…

There are two g’s in nigger. Also, it’s ‘you’re’.

You best watch out before he come over and rape your asshole and make you his bitch!

I’m pretty sure I’m too white and female for him to get aroused.

Maybe he’s talking about people from Niger?

Nigeriens, then.

I’m here to help.

personally, i notice a lot of very devoted christian men that just seem so…stereotypically gay.
perhaps many of them get soo into their beliefs because they’re hiding something?

So it took you until post #33 to add something that should have been in the OP.

A penis isn’t a limb; so no. You might experience phantom appendage syndrome, though.

Can’t imagine much that I’d *less *want to have thoughts about.

Why do you think a religious life is “abnormal”?

It might be the celibate life that’s abnormal.

Why do you think a celibate life is abnormal?

It’s certainly atypical, but abnormal connotes something pathological, distasteful, unhealthy, or sickening. I can’t see a reason to call voluntary celibacy abnormal that would not also apply to homosexuality. I decline to label either as such.

Speak for yourself.
