#OccupyWallStreet

I’m as pro-gun, pro-property-defense guy as you’re likely to meet (despite my generally progressive leanings), and a brandished and loaded gun in my vicinity anywhere that’s not a shooting range is damn well a threat until I figure out where the jackass is pointing it.

You know how, back in school, there would sometimes be a kid who’d almost invariably react so completely over-the-top to the least bit of teasing - and even to stuff that wasn’t remotely intended as teasing, but that his oversensitive ego read that way anyway - that it was impossible for the other kids to leave off teasing him?

Just sayin’.

In the Dodd -Frank bill, Bernie Sanders included an amendment to release who got the bailout money and how much. It was an audit of American tax money, that Bernanke refused to supply when Sen. Sanders asked him for it.
The GAO audited and found we gave 16 trillion dollars to banks, corporations, wealthy people and Central banks around the world.
It also showed the conflict of interest that existed during the bailout. Federal Reserve Bank Directors came from the banks they were regulating. Many were still affiliated with them. The Fed provided them with Conflict of Interest waivers so they could maintain their interests in the banks they were supposed to regulate without facing the law.
They are thieves who gamed the system at the highest levels. They had a free shot at the American treasury and could not resist. It is disgusting.

I get it. I know. You were the kind of cowardly shit who gets off by picking on the weak kid. It’s obvious.

It’s why as an adult you troll a liberal message board, where you can safely act like a shit to to the few conservatives without fear of repercussions. It makes you feel big. You make a big deal about stooping so low d to debate with Shodan, or SA. You act the same way to them.
What do they think of you?

No, actually, I was the weak kid.

Now, apparently, it’s you. I must admit that’s caught me by surprise, given all your macho posturing. Since I’m used to seeing things from a very different angle, the helpless rage and frustration of the musclebound asshole who finds himself in a situation where he can’t settle anything with his fists doesn’t tend to be high on my radar screen. If it were, maybe I’d have seen this coming.

Nope. I just call it as I see it, which is an old woman and her escort trying to make their way through a small protesting crowd to the street. The protesters continue to chant and jostle, and she falls down the stairs in the press. Like I say: “They sure showed her.”

Now you not seeing that is your problem, not mine. That you cannot tell the difference between a peaceful protest and being dangerously overly aggressive makes you no better than those who say that the cop was only doing his job when he tossed a flash grenade into the group who were helping an injured protester.
[/QUOTE]

Uh huh.

That’s what I see.

A Union and some Occupy Detroit people had a march today from Hart Plaza to Grand Circus Park. We expected 75 to 100 people. There were over 500 . It was very exuberant. There were speeches and the union provided food afterwards.
The police were not going to close off streets, but there were so many people, that they changed their minds and closed them.

Listen. I don’t fucking care. I wasn’t bullied, and I wasn’t the bully. I’m sorry you were. I’m sorry you are apparently trying to reenact or redeem or get revenge or whatever it is you are trying to do, or that you’ve fixated on me as some musclebound oaf who bullied you as a kid, but it’s really not my problem. It’s getting weird. Please stop.

You say you wouldn’t want to waste your time meeting me and acting this way with me in real life. Why do you want to do so here?

If I’m such an unpleasant douchebag, keep your word, go away and leave me the fuck alone.

Boy, wouldn’t that be something? I mean, if all the posters who can’t stand Scylla were to just suddenly go away, boy, what a party, huh? All those people thumping you on the shoulders, saying how great it is that you stayed and all those assholes left!

Ya think?

Welp, so much for productive discussion guys… -.-

It’s all going swimmingly. It has virtually nothing to do with OWS anymore but we’re making good progress on analyzing various posters’ childhoods.

Now then, Scylla, elucidator, RTFirefly, **gonzomax **etc, tell us about your mothers…

Hey, you’re the one who raised the issue:

Silence would have been take as assent, so it’s clear that there was no right response to your accusation.

I suspected that might be the case, but I figure that reflects on you, not me.

I didn’t, really. But like I said, silence wasn’t really an option.

Hey, you’re the guy who went apeshit (what ever happened to Fay Wray?) because I pointed out your cite was worthless.

At any rate, it’s a bit late for you to cry “RTFirefly was picking on me!” after all your posing. Try a stiff upper lip, dude. It would become you far better than all your whining and overreacting.

I don’t know about Starving Artist, but this thing where RTF announces he’s not going to engage you anymore, complete with drama-queen exit speech, and then comes back and starts up again, I think it makes him look like kind of a weirdo.

If you say you are going away, and nobody misses you, so you come back, that does start to look like trolling. Or at least a need for some kind of attention.

Something like that.

Regards,
Shodan

Dude. You are nothing more than a troll and and a liar. Either what you say is true, and it carries weight, or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t than your word is worthless and so are you.

I’ve already accused you of stalking and here you’ve just admitted that keeping your word and staying away “is not an option”

It’s clear to me that you are not here for the debate, but for the drama. You’ve already proven that I should not take you seriously or trust anything you say.

I’m glad you have such a clear idea of what’s going on when you helicopter in for five minutes.

Hey, we didn’t miss you when you weren’t here to begin with.

Then why did you bring my name into it?

Scylla’s right - you’re trolling.

Regards,
Shodan

Yes, I did mention your name in passing. And??

And posted a big dramatic speech about how you were leaving, and then came back to try to garner some attention for yourself.

Which, as mentioned, is kind of weird.

Regards,
Shodan

And you shouldn’t be all that surprised if he shows up to respond, seeing as you brought his name up, and I speculated about his opinion.

He has more of a right to be here than you do, seeing as he hasn’t told everybody he was leaving.

What I said, as you quoted (so I hope you read it), was “I’m done with debating you in this thread.” If you equate pointing out one crappy cite with debating you, and go apeshit as a result, that’s your lookout, not mine.

How many posts in this thread did you devote to telling me at length that you weren’t responding to me? How many times did you go on and on, yammering at me at length, while calling me a troll? Then I go away for a day and a half, and you get upset about that. (It’s hard to troll you when I’m not even here, but somehow my powers extend that far. :))

Like I’ve said repeatedly, if we assume arguendo that I’m a troll (and trust me, I can’t be bothered to troll you), you’re the one who’s quite consciously making me a successful troll. As the song (more or less) goes, if I’ve got the poison, you’ve got the remedy.
