Since you did not get a direct answer to your direct question that does indeed have a factual answer:
Start with the best pump gas you can get. Sunoco 94 is common in my area. Add xylene and or toluene to the gasoline. About three gallons added to seven gallons of gasoline will get you ten gallons of 100 octane. Should add a dash of lube to the mix. Maybe an ounce per gallon of solvent - do not remember since Sunoco sells GT-100 at a few select stations near me, I do not mix my own for some time now.
