I just went to the store, coincidentally. I saw a six sleeve box marked for snacking next to the regular three sleeve box. They were priced the same but the six sleeve was lighter.
The price you pay for not having a sleeve go stale, like that was ever going to happen.
I keep hoping that one day things will change and we’ll get expanding chocolate bars.
If for whatever reason I don’t finish a sleeve of Ritz crackers I put the unused crackers (usually still wrapped in the sleeve) into a ziplock bag to keep them from going stale. I see no point in paying extra for smaller sleeves.
The part I find annoying is when there isn’t an evenly divisible number of servings. I don’t care if the number on the front is a round number, but, now that I actually look at the nutrition information, I notice how often the number of servings is “about X.” When you have to count the fat, fiber, and calories, it makes things quite annoying. I mostly wind up calculating the amount in the whole package and then use division.
