It’s called chelada. It’s a Mexican thing – Clamato, beer, lime or lemon juice, and a little salt. Sometimes Worcestershire sauce as well.

Now I’m sorry I brought up that whole “Clamato” thing. No comments on the purposely cold oven?

Hey, thanks for this. You’ve solved a little mystery. I shop at a little Mexican market around the corner. Given their limited shelf space for packaged foods, I was surprised yesterday to see Clamato among the few items purchased by the guy in the line ahead of me. Your post reminded me that he bought beer as well. I didn’t notice if he bought any limes.
