Along the same vein, jinwicked, sometimes I ponder if the world is made up just for me to experience, and fades to nothing as soon as I go somewhere else or turn my attention to something else. I wonder if the world was made when I was born, and if it will stop when I die. And how anyone could convince me that the world isn’t made up purely for me to experience.
Most of the time I ponder why I always remember something else I was gonna say AFTER I hit the send key…
I used to wonder about that “Time flies when you’re having fun” thing…
What if it’s not a preception, what if it’s real and time does go faster when you’re enjoying youself and if you’re having a really crappy time, it does actually go slower…
So if you had a really good life, it would be over sooner then someone born at the same time as you who has a bad life…
And would that meen that I’d be talking to a future or past version of someone…
And why can’t I find that particular shade of red that I keep thinking about…
And why was my “Prawn Board[sup]TM[/sup]” not a roaring success… I thought it was cool!
hmmm…
(I know what some human flesh tastes like… )
Well, genetically the cousins would essentially be siblings, no more identical than any other non-twin siblings. Sorry to take all the fun out of this one.
I’m *really * dating myself here, but I remember an old episode of the TV show “I’ve Got a Secret”. Turns out the couple’s secret was that they were each a member of an identical triplet, and the three brothers had married the three sisters.
There was a small grocery here in town that was run by twin brothers who had married twin sisters. As has been said before, their kids were genetically brothers and sisters but actually double cousins. They did look a lot alike however, and the two families lived in a single duplex.
I often wonder if people think like I do. Is the way I process thoughts unique, or would people with similar personalities have their thoughts follow the same vein?
Whenever I actually think in words, what does it sound like to my brain, if it even has a distinctive “sound”.
Brain research…Scientists are using their brain to unlock the secrets of brains. Is their own grey matter secretly scoffing at them for their bumbling attempts?
And as [bold Dijon Warlock[/bold] said, is my blue the same as your blue, and is it possible to ever find out?
Don’t feel bad if you didn’t quite understand my previous post. I don’t either when I try to put it into words.
Also, I apologize for my total lack of coding skill.
I wonder if it’s possible to ever know the truth about anything until I begin to feel paranoid and then I stop. I remember reading an article in a magazine by a person who believed that most people never had sex because there wasn’t enough evidence to the contrary. Maybe a bit of empirical peeping through windows would have helped. Then, again, there are people I can think of who lead sexless lives. Sexless lives aren’t talked about all that much and are probably not all that uncommon…or are they? Who can tell? There a lot of widows and widowers who never remarry and women who never marry at all. I don’t know whose fault it all is.
