Of Miracles and Men

Highly recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of hockey, of Russia, of the Cold War, or of just good human stories. A 30 for 30 documentary that explores the Russian side of the 1980 “Miracle on Ice”, it’s a deeply fascinating insight into the development of Soviet hockey, the personalities of players and coaches, and the aftermath. Check it out.

It was one of the best of the series, up there with “The Two Escobars” and “Once Brothers.”

One thing I will take with me from the show is what horrible sports the Canadians were during the Summit Series. Complete goons and proud of it.
