I think they ran out of ideas for this week’s strip. It’s funny as absurdist comedy though.
Look at the lower right corner. If it’s snipped, the joke is over.
It’s really sad to have to confess this, but that’s the most useful thing I’ve learned today!
Doesn’t work for epilogues though. You still have to remember to look for those on your own.
?What did the poor paradigm lady do?
I’m not entirely sure, but maybe the pyrokinetic’s secret word was “home.”
Her secret word is written on the sign she’s holding and is the last word uttered in the preceding panel. It’s likely included in the comic because it’s the kind of wanky term that gets overused in these kinds of debate.
As for why she burns, it likely shows the artist’s contempt for people who really like that word.
Well I think this week’s strip provides us with a new paradigm for modern web comics.
Or it just really confused the heck out of me.
Maybe it’s an allegory about allegories.
…about allegories.
I thought the ignition was part of her going home – she was trapped in a human body and got freed somehow. Certainly the skeleton looks quite happy.
Hard to say; as the Master put it, maybe it’s just that she doesn’t have any lips.
I just think its awesome that the disembodied fetus has the deepest insights, and then just gets shouted down by everyone else.
That was how I read it.
I’m shocked this is even in question…
Where’s my “Crystal Deathworm 2014” button?
And a favourite character makes another appearance. Still pursuing the medical angle I see.
And it it gives us a glimpse of the currency in the Oglafverse.
Apparently, love costs 10 ℘ and true love costs 20 ℘. Whatever a ℘ is.
And nice to see she’s still hanging out with a couple of the acolytes she helped save.
It’s pe; whatever pe are.
