And yet the most mysteriously inexplicable part of yesterday’s comic? Both male characters are wearing briefs. Oglaf is all about drawing the dong. I guess in this one instance, she just wanted to let the mystery be.

A cow like that, you don’t eat all at once.
But, you know, if they eat beef, why wouldn’t you eat a cow/bull that died heroically? Seems wasteful to bury it . . .
I like that the cow helmet had horns.
It reminded me of the Tom the Dancing Bug comics “Bad Meat” (meat that only comes from animals that were convicted of serious crimes and sentenced to death) and “Smart Meat” (meat that only comes from animals that are intelligent enough to understand that they’re going to be slaughtered, for opponents of the death penalty for the mentally retarded).
Indeed in the Oglafverse you can never know. But most often it makes no difference
