Ok, for those who lament the absence of another grand story arc, I did some counting: after the last installment of the Ivan and the Arrow of Regret arc, it was 28 installments to “Curse of the Funpire”, and then it broke off for another 10 strips before beginning the Fun God arc with “Morag the Immortal”. Since the end of that arc it’s been 22 installments. So this is comparable to previous lulls.
When you commit to a weekly release schedule, and you have other work that occupies the rest of your time, and it takes time to plan and write a long involved story arc, you have to expect a few fallow periods.

Ivan being named “the Slut” goes back to the Arrow of Regret arc. I thought it was more a reference to the “slut porn” in Wake.
That magic city where everyone was a virgin had an underground comic about The Slut, and it’s problematic writing subversive porn when you don’t actually understandhow sex works.
Seem to be more casually drawn and lettered episodes that IIRC tend to show up as interludes around holidays and other busy times.
Lets hope that they don’t use the internet for their information.
