Ok. Call me quirky

Of late, our Mickey D’s has some weird very giant, under-exposed pix of buildings and bridges. I don’t get it at all.

I miss the Hamburgler and Ronald McDonald, personally.

Stay in your lane Mickey D

You are fairly sure they don’t have a chance against you. This is the last one I do for free.

You funny.

Hi, Funny.

They seem to encourage local franchisees to personalize the decor to their local areas. The one near my parents’ house in Green Bay has big football murals (it’s down the street from the Packers’ stadium).

Of course. Honestly I never noticed the Taco Bell art or any other fast food place art. It’s very interesting, not my taste, they’re no Haussner’s (was in Baltimore- burnt down).

I knew Haussner’s well, it was a special family treat when we were kids. Ate there many times. They had a tremendous menu.

Fortunately, you’re mistaken about it burning down. It was family owned and run, and when no one in the youngest generation wanted to take it on, they closed it. The enormous art collection was sold off.

Near me is the world’s most spectacular Taco Bell. It is literally on the beach; if you step off the restaurant’s back deck (yes it has a deck), you are on the beach sand. The deck has an amazing ocean view. It also serves alcohol. The land it’s on is probably worth $10 million; I am perpetually amazed that it remains a Taco Bell. I never noticed any artwork there, but it’s hard to notice anything except the ocean view.

i’m mistaken-- I don’t know why I thought I read/heard there was a fire, I know it closed. My cousin had a wedding reception there maybe 40 years ago and it was very memorable, not just for the art.
I haven’t been in Baltimore for many years except briefly in 2010 for the new (at the time) Hopkins Children’s hospital.

Google taco bell art, then click 'sale". Lots to buy- from $10,000 (!) to $3.48.
