**Los Angeles ** remains my favorite from the start, and then I love Wild Gift. It’s nice that they’ve been remastered of late. The Unheard Music is out on DVD now if you’re into that sort of thing. Tangentally I love Exene’s Old Wives’ Tales which has a predominantly country flair, like the Knitters. I do not recommend her recent project the Original Sinners, which is sort of like a warmed-over, less than half-assed X impersonation.
Oh and don’t bother with Hey, Zeus!
The only two decent songs* on that album are on Make the Music Go Bang
“Country at War” and “New LIfe.”
