I reckon three would be a good quorum for a DopeFest, ** j_sum1**. Looks like we could get a couple of gatherings organised, one on each island. Glad to see you’re not alone down there, Rabid_Squirrel.
After January 12th would be good for me as far as an Auckland gathering in concerned. Doing something in December might be cutting it fine for some – but I’m dead keen to meet any of you up here in th’ City of Sails if you’d prefer something this side of Christmas.
Well Ice maybe a coffee at least is in order. Just so we can say it was done

Thanks for the email, kiwiboy. Right, that’s three for a gathering in Auckland (myself and Bronze plugged into the “interested” category), with maybe calm kiwi and manx as well if they’re clear. I won’t be able to really get onto this until after Nov 29. Suggestions as to type of venue and time of day would be appreciated.

I’m only in and around Sydney later this year, lurksfromwork, which is a bit of a shame – would’ve like to have met you. However, I have to get out to WA in the not-too-distant future (another G’Doper friend is pretty insistent that I do so, and before I retire an’ all).
If you’re still around there then – might meet up with ya, Aussie.
The best bit of WA is the north, Bloody hot though, winter (dry season) temps are usually around 30C, summer wet season…about 30C and raining.
Got another three years before I’m scheduled to move from here, plenty of time.

Will be in AKL from the 4th to the 9th on a rellie bothering mission which hopefully won’t take much of that time since I would dearly like to get out and see some of the city (beyond the skytower… yawn) this time.
