OK people! Confess!!!

Whenever the news reporters talk about the Rim Fire (the wildfire burning near/into Yosemite National Park), how many of you secretly hope that somebody slips up and calls it the “Rimjob Fire”?

I can’t be the only one

Chirp. Chirp.

No, it just makes me think of ammunition. Rimfire vs center fire.

Same here, and I’m not even a gun guy.

It made me think of the Ring of Fire (volcanoes around the Pacific) and that made me think of the Johnny Cash song which makes me think of the joke about eating spicy food and pooping (it burns burns burns…the ring of fire).

I think about “rim job” whenever I hear the Pacific Rim mentioned. So I guess you are not alone.

PS - nice post/user-name combo.

I’ve heard rumors that Preparation H tried to get the rights to use that song in a commercial, but Johnny Cash’s daughter refused.

Too bad. I can imagine the commercial now: We see a ring of flames, similar to the burner on a gas stovetop, while the Johnny Cash song plays in the background. Suddenly, a tube of Preparation H drops into the center of the flames. Instantly, the flames die out and the song ceases, replaced by a gentle pastoral melody. Fade out.
