Right. There is no “city in San Francisco other than San Francisco”, since SF is a city and doesn’t contain other cities. Even if you mean San Francisco County, you have the same problem, since the county has the same boundary as the city. It’s like asking for “a country in Canada which isn’t Canada”.
North Beach.
Tenderloin district is all I’ve got. I initially thought of Oakland, but that’s, obviously, not in San Francisco.
Tenderloin ftw
Yeah, I really don’t understand this thread at all.
I think the OP is very straightforward, but the responses have been lacking.
Many countries have a Consulate there, do they count? It’s not the Vatican, I know, but the lad isn’t technically in SF either. . .
What have i done
Quebec?![]()
Wow Tenderloin gets 3 mentions before I get here. It’s where I live.
City Lights bookstore? (261 Columbus, in SF)
FWIW, the closest Value City Furniture to SF is in Ohio or so.
Whatever it was, there’s no getting out of it now…
San Francisco. Can’t believe no one’s mentioned that one yet.
I claim the only valid answer so far.
Frisco.
You should have picked a different city. There aren’t enough letters to “boggle” different city names out of “San Francisco”.
Yes. YOU. You’re the one responsible for this mess.
You, of course, also share some portion of the blame(?) for what looks to be one of the biggest whooshes I’ve seen here for some time. I’m having to literally force myself to accept that posters here do not get what the OP is about. (A few do, I think.)
Yes I don’t get. The only city in SF is SF.
My sister lives in Novato…but always says “San Francisco” when asked.
…when the lights go down in The City, and the sun shines on the baaayyyyyy…
Actually, there’s a tiny corner of the island of Alameda which is in San Francisco county. So… the answer to the question is… the city of Alameda.
People in Alameda mention it a lot, but somehow, San Francisco doesn’t…
Is that the part with the nuclear wessels?
