I’ve just finished reading this work: Old Friends & New Fancies. It was written in 1913 by Sybil Brinton and is a sequel to Jane Austen’s novels (principally to Pride and Prejudice) that brings together characters from all six of her books.
Has anyone read it? I thought that it was going to be overly contrived but it actually seemed to proceed reasonably smoothly plot-wise. And I think that the author did a pretty good job capturing Austen’s literary style.
It ends with some fairly interesting marriages among Austen’s remaining unmarried characters.
I enjoyed it. I read it quite a few years ago, though, so I am a little rusty on some of the details - was this the one where she killed Col. Brandon off?

Yes, although he and his wife are only mentioned cursorily. The major plot revolves around the involvement between and subsequent marriages of:various characters from Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey.
