Here is an actual candid photo of my face right now:
. (Not pictured: my hair. Just imagine the love child between the bride of Frankenstein and Don King.) First off, my washer quit. I’d stripped the bed and loaded the sheets, etc. in the washer, along with my jammies. It wouldn’t turn on. I tested the circuit breaker twice, and that’s not the issue. So I’ll have to put in a maintenance request, and it’ll probably take him a couple of days to get to it. I guess I’ll have to load everything into the babushka cart and walk the mile to the nearest laundromat tomorrow. Dang it.
Then I called the medical supply place again today, as they’d told me on Monday to do so because the sleep doc’s notes (supposedly sent to them on Friday) hadn’t gone through the proper channels to get the hold off my account. So I called today. Same report except now I’m to call back Monday. I’m already almost 2 weeks overdue to change the mask.
Max’s person tells me she is shopping for a gun. She’s liberal and understandably alarmed by what’s happening in Portland. Hegsteth’s speech alarmed and angered her so much that she decided she needed a weapon for self-defense. (Max’s only offensive tactic is smothering with kisses.) Politics aside, this has me alarmed. I’m not anti-gun, but I don’t think she even knows how to shoot one. I am going to be very, very careful when I go over to pick up the dog. Knock, knock. “Klaatu barada nikto!”
I did not call the rheumatologist yet. Today was shot day, and I decided that was enough pain for one day. I’ll try to get myself psyched to do it tomorrow.
Shouldn’t that be paired with some strange but unrelated photo as clickbait?
I read that as “excellent onions for our relationship.” You might be onto something there. What good relationship couldn’t be improved by an onion or two? Welcome back! Glad you had such a great time.
Taters, so glad you’re back in the PNW! Washington missed you.
Oopsie, yay on getting the audition! Fingers are crossed–not that you need them.
hippie, I’m amazed by your artistry. Wow, that’s gorgeous!
BooFae, no photos of the kittens? Maybe they’re too young for a cat tax, but they must be beyond adorable.
That’s the coolest thing I’ve heard in a long time, maybe ever!
This should be embroidered on a cushion somewhere.
