I’m trying to locate an online bio of PRC-producers releasing corp.Together with Monogram they made up probably better than 50% of my childhood Saturday double features.

All I get from Google is sites selling some of their movies.I’ve read Monogram’s story but can’t find PRC.

Who were the producers that released these B’s?Why did they enter the Republic/Monogram type market?Did another co.buy them out in the 50’s like Monogram’s fate?

Another ? who/what was the television pictures (or pictures for television) releasing co? I’ve seen old B’s with that credit on them,tho the films were shot in the 30’s before any TV stations were around to need a movie playlist.

I remember “Motion Pictures for Television” as the company that produced the old Superman series. But according to the link http://www.classicthemes.com/50sTVThemes/themePages/squadronOfDoom.html they were around before that.
