I hear the Amish have opened a Museum of Progress. So far they’re only exhibiting a spoon and a button, but it’s a start.
Wish they’re were more people like them. You never hear of an Amish drive-by shooting.

We have a community of Amish abouut 100 miles from here. We sometimes go there to buy their preserves and bread.

Well, I grew up about 20 minutes from Lancaster, PA, the Amish heartland, and I can tell you that not all Amish are alike. I actually rode on a Greyhound bus once with an Amish couple sitting in front of me once.

See, there are Old Order Amish, the stereotypical Amish who shun technology and hide their faces when you try to take their picture and then there are the New Order Amish, who have been known to indulge in modern conveniences.

And them Amish make some killer apple butter!

There was a news story a little while ago about Amish drug dealers. I also read somewhere that the Amish youth are becoming very disillusioned and are drinking and drugging, we just don’t hear about it much.
