omega-3

Does Omega-3 actually help with artery health?

Omega 3: The medical evidence thus far shows benefit more for people who already have coronary artery disease. It hasn’t consistently shown benefit in primary prevention (i.e. lowering the risk of developing coronary artery disease for folks who have not yet been shown to have it).

There’s some evidence to suggest that if Omega 3 does have any benefit for an otherwise healthy population, it may come more from taking the Omega 3 in its original form, by eating oily seafood.
