OMG! I had an encounter with a terrorist! (maybe)

Yesterday, I was on the bus traveling home from work. A man of Arabic appearance got off at the stop before mine and I noticed that he had left his bag behind. I grabbed the bag and ran after him, caught up with him and handed him back his bag.

He was extremely grateful to me and when he checked the contents of his bag I noticed what appeared to be large bundles of cash and white powder.

He looked round, made sure nobody was looking and whispered to me: “I can never repay your kindness sir, but I will try to with a word of advice for you and your friends: Tell everyone you care about to stay away from Pittsburgh.”

I was terrified. “Is there going to be a terrorist attack?” I whispered.

“No, sir,” he whispered back. “It’s a shithole.”
:p:p:p:p

Just watch those predator drones, buddy.

He looked like a font?

You had me for about 10 seconds, there, Dave. I was thinking, “What the hell was Dave doing on a bus coming home from work?”

Then I read the rest. Ah yes…very funny:D

You had me for the first few lines too . . . That is sooooo wrong!

Tripler
But he is sooo right 'bout Pittsburgh.

Now, why don’t I get glurge like this from everyone I know?

[sub]Y’know, something that’s possible and useful to know.[/sub]

omg… that was so wrong… but so amusing…

Whereas I really did…

I live in Las Vegas and Muhammad Atta was seen here before 9/11.
I kept thinking I recognized him when pictures started coming out. I told everybody I recognized the guy, but I couldn’t figure out where I had seen him…most thought I was crazy as I hadn’t been in NY in years. It was driving me crazy. I literally was awake at night trying to remember where it was that I had seen him. Then it came out that several of the WTC terrorists had been in Las Vegas a few months before.
I work in the (crappy) downtown area of Vegas and there was a sandwich shop and cheap hotel in the area.
That is where they were sighted.
That is how I remember seeing them. I remembered seeing Atta simply because the man was so odd looking. I cannot remember a name to save my life, but I never forget a face. He must have wandered by my office window.
I called the FBI back then, but didn’t have much more to offer other than having seen him.
Still kinda freaks me out that I saw that monster roaming around in my neighborhood.

I’m gonna email the OP to a bunch of people, Dave, and I’ll introduce it by saying that this didn’t come from a FOAF, but from an actual friend, someone I’ve known for years now.

Can’t wait to see the reactions I get.

I SO want to e-mail that to my boss in Pittsburgh. I seriously doubt he’d find it as amusing as I did, but DAMN. I really wanna!

Bitter?

I was wondering how long it would take one of y’all to notice this thread…
 :stuck_out_tongue:
