It took American know-how and yankee ingenuity to get the WMD to the terrorists fast enough. Those inefficient Iraqis just weren’t getting the job done on their own.

I must admit, elucidator was right on the money. The hunt for WMD’s has indeed turned into a hunt for documents. And once we find documents, Bush will quietly stop hunting for actual WMD’s.
I didn’t tell any one until now, but they are completely out of touch with what really happened.
I don’t know if you recall that Rumsfeld (or was that Powell) in an attack of clearvoyance saw that they were - just before the invasion of Iraq started - send on a voyage to Syria.
Hussein being that smart to bring them in safety instead of using them against them invaders. You never know for what purpose he could ever need them, no?
Well I didn’t believe a word of that.
Until one evening, I suddenly saw strange objects - only later I discovered those poor creatures where those WMD - passing through my garden and then one approached the house and begged me to hide them until they had found a way to go to the USA in order to ask political asielment. Deadly skared by the clearvoyance gifts of Rumsfelt they were, of course. Driven away from their homeland, next from the Syrian shelter and now in my basements shivering of cold and fear.
Oh well… I negiociated a bit with Rumsfelt but he wasn’t really all that interested in having them at all, saying that the US population wouldn’t even bother about them in a few days time.
The UK on the other hand showed some days later all of a sudden a great interest. But by then it was too late. The poor things had died a silent death and I burried them in the Atlantic.
Since then I see weird things happening all around me. Men in black suits with Al Capone hat and dark glasses follow me every where I go. My mail accounts and website receive strange hacking visits. My house is certainly bugged and my cars and other transportation vehicle are invisibly marked and surely traced by every meter they move.
Both OBL and Hussein came by to inform if there was nothing left of the poor WMD’s. And seen the fact that Arabs are bound to hospitality, I’m stucked with them until the USA wants them.
If someone has some rooms available to shelter them and thus take them over from me, please let me now … Now.
Because neither Bush or Rumsfeld or Powell or whomever wants them. They say the US population has forgotten all about them already anyway.
Well, I can only hope they don’t start in Iran, because now that the road to my place is known, God knows who else shows up to stay.

What REALLY bugs me about Gulf War II is that if GWB had given ANY other reason for an invasion–human rights issues; his family’s gluttonous hoarding of Johnny Walker Blue; the possibility that he might take control of the region’s oil, restrict its production and jack up the value of Venezuealan crude resulting in the formation of a second superpower in the Western Hemisphere–the rest of the world (except France, of course) would have gotten on board and helped us bitch-slap him & his kids. Why all the saber rattling? When there were plenty of other reasons to do it?

I worry more about thinly stretched US occupation forces being picked off in a piecemeal fashion–while having to resort to massive firepower in response–in urban areas. I’m worried about Saddam’s whereabouts. If there were WMDs, my hypothetical, where the hell are they, George?
