Is there a place on-line where I can get info about books sorta like music players (Wind Media Player, iTunes, etc.) get info about my CDs when I rip them? I’d like to be able to enter the ISBN or title or something and have all the information appear in my database. Specifically, my SF collection ought to be cataloged, and I’m short of time and patience.
www.bibliophil.org is free, and it lets you search and add books using the ISBN. It also has a feature that lets you export data to an Excel file.
I wish I had known about BiblioPhil a few years ago. I put a couple thousand books into SingleFile, paid for it, and then they closed up shop, with no way to export the data.
I’m too lazy to do it again, but if I weren’t, I’d use BiblioPhil.
