Wow, a thread for people like me. I’m independent, or around here, "no party. I lean way left in most social issues like women’s rights and gun rights and general social policies…except I lean somewhat right when it comes to immigration. I lean more conservative in business and economics. And when it gets down to it I don’t believe that any party represents my interests. Honestly they don’t even deserve the time of day.
All that being said, there hasn’t been a Republican candidate I would willingly vote for in my lifetime.
And we have closed primaries in my State and I still don’t want all of the spam and phone calls my SO got during the election - he was registered as a true “independent” which is its own party here too I believe.
