You wrote “suits me” under the quote. Unless I am mistaken, doesn’t that indicate that you agree with the quote?
Taken in its original context, I don’t see the offensiveness of the St. Isidore quote. It sounds like his words are instructional to Christians, and as such is good sense - for them. As for me, I prefer this quote:

(Unless St. Isidore is a Doper I’m not aware of, which would explain that gigantic airlike sound I heard going by just now . . . )

As AngelicGemma has stated it was choosing such an oppressive quote and saying “suits me” with a goddamn smiley face. This wasn’t a personal attack, it was me stating the negative impact of your support of that quote and it was Gemma stating that she has a growing dislike of your behaviour, which I totally agree with.
BTW, if you don’t mind answering, what was your reasoning behind that quote anyway Iceland?
It was from Arnold’s St.Isidore quote and since I hadn’t heard of this guy,I yahoo’ed him…And on the site about him,came up this quote of his which I felt very apt.
