Let me see if I’m understanding this correctly. Kalhoun chooses not to capitalize certain words and names of a religious nature because she feels that to do so legitimizes the belief that there is a supreme being of some sort. This annoys people who believe in that supreme being, which gives Kalhoun further incentive to continue doing so, since she derives some pleasure from their discomfort.
magellen01 takes such great offense at this that he has decided that from now on he will only refer to her as “dumb cunt” or variations thereof. This action is directed solely at her, not at anyone else who believes as she does, thus making it a personal issue rather than a general protest, which is the intent of the action he finds offensive.
In other words, Kalhoun is acting out of a sense of personal conviction, while magellan01 is being a whiny little kid.

The fact remains that capitalizing “Jesus” denotes nothing other than the fact that his name is a proper noun. Kalhoun isn’t railing against Christianity, but against a convention on English style and usage.

As far as Peace goes, I wish to level my counter protest and afford her the same peaceful time on these boards as she admits to providing for others. She won’t change now. Not on these boards. I don’t know, but I’d be willing to bet on it. He does type the word god with the “o” intact, knowing full well that there are people on these boards who don’t.
