Recently I engaged in some e-mail exhange with the Westboro Baptist Church (the people of godhatesfags.com)…And made an interesting discovery. They mention the Holocaust in their FAQ, but they don’t know how many Jews died in the Holocaust! heh, just thought I’d share their naivete.
Are they naive or are they Holocaust revisionists?

There’s a Gary Larson cartoon of a guy in a shrink’s office. He’s on the couch, chattering away, and the shrink’s got a notebook which we can see. He’s written: “Just plain nuts.”
WHY were you e-mailing them? (Just curious, mind you).
Actually, all the church consists of is Phelps’s family. That’s it. And maybe a few stray lunatics.
I’d just try to stay away from them. They are severely disturbed-literally.
Reason for e-mailing them: boredom, and the fact that I wanted to slip them up, which I did successfully, with my Holocaust question. In their FAQ it says “the few million innocent Jews that died in the Holocaust” (they were making lame pro-choice/Nazi comparisons), and I thought: About 5.8 million Jews died in the Holocaust…do they even know how many? So I e-mailed there “Questions or Comments” guy, and he wormed his way out of answering by saying some things like, “That’s irrelevant”. When I pointed out that it was just questions and comments, he said that if I e-mailed him back he would just delete it and report it as hate mail to my ISP…Thus, I’ve arrived at the conclusion that they know very little about the Holocaust.
Okay, so it sounds like they’re probably just being stupid and using poor word choices and making offensive and inappropriate comparisons between genocide and the abortion issue, and not being hardcore raving-about-the-Khazars anti-Semites.
