Caturdai
I wonder if things will get any tighter than this:
Sunday 7 15.91%
Monday 6 13.64%
Tuesday 5 11.36%
Wednesday 6 13.64%
Thursday 7 15.91%
Friday 7 15.91%
Saturday 6 13.64%
Voters: 44
Wanna predict at what count of voters the days will all have the same number of votes?
Yeah, well I’ve had “Lady Madonna” running through my head all morning because of this thread. So, I might as well answer now: Thursday.
Looks pretty uniform to me. When we get up to 100 votes, I’ll do a Kolmogorov-Smirnoff test on it.
Gesundheit.
Oh, please do!
I’ll do the Smirnoff, you do t’other.
Sunday.
Friday June 15, 1973 at 5:52 pm CT. Funny, I still love Friday nights in the summer.
Sunday, Father’s Day, ***and ***three weeks late.
Mother always said I would be late for my own funeral some day.
I’m Saturday’s child, and as it says by my username, I’m nice, dammit! This song was running thru my head before I even got to your post. I felt it was my personal anthem and Micky’s love song to me. Ah, youth…
Okay, with 89 data points, here is the result of the Kolmogorov-Smirnoff test:
Max absolute deviation: 0.059
Critical value: 0.144
Since the maximum absolute deviation does NOT exceed the critical value, we cannot reject the hypothesis that the data are uniformly distributed.
What a relief! They have wandered about plenty with varying high values, but never approaching the symmetry of the 44-vote checkpoint (that I have noticed, and I have been checking for such).
I suspect we’ll have other smoothings along the way, as long as we keep getting votes.
Huh, Thursday. Who knew?
Monday? I hate Mondays.
Wednesday!
Today! Friday, I mean.
This is probably why I hate Mondays.
That made my head hurt!
Or, you could just google the date, which is what I did.
Tuesday.
I don’t know why I had it in my head it was a Friday, but as it turns out, I was right.
