On whom do Holocaust deniers blame the hoax?

In addition to everything else, a common tactic among all kinds of conspiracy nutballs is to Just Ask Questions. The Questions are usually utterly moronic and unanswerable because they assume a reality not in evidence, which means the nutball wins every time he leaves someone sputtering or forces someone to Evade The Question by explaining why it is fundamentally unanswerable as posed.

The biggest advantage of Just Asking Questions is that you never need to link your Questions - or your worldview - into any coherent narrative. After all, you aren’t the one with the answers. You don’t need to answer any questions at all. All you need to do is score points by annoying the real experts in the field. (Or, you know, random politicians and celebrities. Whoever’s closest.)

Why can’t they be both, like the late Earl Warren?
