Granted, he appeared in other things, but Peter Billingsley was in one of the greatest movies ever (A Christmas Story) and then sort of faded away.
I imagine this thread could most easily be filled by child actors who later decided not to make a career out of it.
Poor Peg Entwistle. One of the most promising Broadway starlets of the late 1920s (she inspired Bette Davis to become an actress), Peg only appeared in one movie before killing herself by jumping off the HOLLYWOODLAND sign in 1932.
I have The Specials on DVD. It’s a fun movie that I prefer over Mystery Men.
