One of my coworkers saved a life!

I was driving to work this morning, and the local causeway was totally clogged with emergency service vehicles… assumed someone had driven their car over the concrete barrier, somehow…

Get to work and find out one of my coworkers was the hero of the day!

Paul is such a sweetheart, none of here are surprised, even though he’s a bit of a quiet, unassuming sorta guy… he came to work with his hands all cut up and was going to STAY! We sent him home anyhow.

I just felt like sharing.

Wow, Paul, you ROCK. Way to go, buddy. Thanks from all of us.

Chime in everyone, and then show him this thread, Venoma.

Here it is Memorial Day in the US and I’m reading about a genuine hero. Please give him my very high regards, Venoma. It was a pleasure to read about him.

Kick ass, Paul.

You have a wonderful friend, Venoma.

Good man, Paul! The world could use a lot more like you.

::Grabs Paul and gives him a great big hug::

Way to go, Paul! Hope they didn’t charge you for the sick day. You deserve it.

My God, the guy was going to stay after an event like that? I’d be home with the shakes, and/or a stiff drink.(Just one, really!) Hope he gets a medal, and I mean that literally. I don’t know what you place of work does Venoma, but whatever it is they are lucky to have Paul. maybe the (?)office(?) can give him a party. Too bad I’m not closer, I’d bake the cake.

…and thanks to Paul for getting me to feel good about mankind once again…

What a guy! Very very impressive!

Now that’s just cool…

Why is it that the real heroes are so often the “quiet guy”…?

What a fantastic bloke. Nice one mate.
