Any chance you may pass out with your arm in the same position creating pressure sore of some kind? Arm hanging over a rough surface on a couch? Anything that might cause a minor abbrasion?
I think you’re on the right train, but wrong track. Every time henryunderborn passes out drunk, his drinking buddy (who he met 2 years ago), puts out a cigarette on his bicep. And giggles.
How often are you hung over? You say you know a doctor would tell you to quit drinking, so it sounds like it could be frequently. I am not passing judgment, just wondering if it could be unrelated to the drinking, but you have coincidentally noticed it on those days. It sounds like it could be excema.
There’s a rule here that says you can’t insult anyone outside of the BBQ Pit, which includes calling them names, so don’t do it.
Be careful with that, it might be Oral Allergy Syndrome and you may have cross reactions with coffee and chocolate milk.
It’s a Drunk Lump
Seriously, see a damn doctor. :dubious:
ETA: And then come back and tell us what it is. We’re curious!
Maybe it’s a hemangioma or something similar, where there’s a cluster of blood vessels close to the skin getting inflamed when you drink. Sort of like old European guys who get big red noses later in life.
Haha, OP has a gin blossom on his arm.
Ahh yes, I didn’t really intend for it to be berrating. It was simply, see, as I made it up, I also gave it its meaning. Even if the function within the wording was off.
But anyways people. Uh. Yeah. No it really isn’t associated with anything else, other than from select nights of drinking. /anomale.
Really, no other parts of my body, and always the same exact spot between my bicep/tricep. Lasting without any pussing or trace of existence on my skin.
Can alcohol cause fixed drug eruptions? As I understand it, fixed drug eruptions are when you get a rash/swelling in the same spot every time you take a particular drug. They’re mostly talked about in the context of medication side effects, but I don’t see why the same thing couldn’t happen with alcohol.
