ONE Thing Liberals and Conservatives Always Agree On

Democrats have long maintained that if we could just get people to see what Republicans are actually for (versus how much of their rhetoric was mere posturing), that they’d never actually vote for them.

Then along comes trump, who openly says all that stuff and gets elected anyway. No wonder Dems are in a continuing state of shock about this.

I also disagree with how the opening suggestion is characterized. I haven’t seen BOTH sides claim to have been “too nice” lately. What I’ve been seeing, is that it’s extremely popular with the Republicans right now, to claim that the DEMOCRATS have been “too nice,” to the point of wimpiness and even treason. The only time I hear Republicans pretend to be “too nice,” is when they are explaining that what they SHOULD do, is run over their opposition with an M1 Abrams.

But there are lots of other examples where both sides use the same rhetoric to say the opposite thing. Just not the “we’re too nice” rhetoric of this era.

The last time I saw right wing people bemoan their niceness was during the primaries, as a reason to vote against weak RINOs like Jeb! and Rubio. They needed a bulldog like Trump who won’t bow and scrap before the liberal media, was the thinking.

Before that, it was a common sentiment during the Obama years, even as the Tea Party turned political discourse into toxic sludge and the budget was held hostage. If the only the Republicans would fight instead of giving in!

You think InfoWars, and PRRI, (Public Religion Research Institute, a think tank in D.C.) TruthRevolt, & Louder with Crowder are nonpartisan sources?

Sources are best judged by the extent that they deliver objective fact with unbiased candor. Like, for instance, Infowars, which has set a new standard.

No, there is not.

You are not “saving” facts, you are simply hiding the extreme partisan sources on which you rely for your misinformation.

And citing Breitbart taking PRRI results out of context does not help your claim. I refrained from citing the Huffington Post that disputes your assertion to avoid the same problem.

The rest of your assertions fall into the same slop buckets: nonsense selected from extremely partisan sources or distorted from their original sources and contexts.

Please don’t leave us holding our breath. I don’t consider myself some pinnacle of liberalism but the irony of how you have misunderstood, misrepresented and misconstrued the results of these surveys is overwhelming. Being charitable (wink, wink), my first assumption is to presume that you are profoundly scientifically illiterate as to what makes for a good, accurate and meaningful poll and what conclusions can be reasonably drawn from such studies, because the alternative option would be that you know and understand how much bullshit a self selecting survey of 50 people is worth and presenting it as indicative of anything is patently dishonest.

Which you did in a post proclaiming liberals as dishonest morons.

no, there isn’t

Ann Coulter provides a fresh example of a Republican thinking the party has been too spineless:
