I’m starting a linked but separate thread for this, and while I know we sometimes dislike Omnibus threads, I feel we’re getting enough of them (and likely more in future sadly) to justify it. I set this one off from the Texas thread, but it is just as much a child of the Clarence Thomas thread.
With an evil fairy step-mother “Loose Cannon” from the Trump document thread, and many honorable mentions to the SCOTUS nominees of the Trump years threads.
This way I (and we ideally) are not trying to remember which thread the latest hypocrisy or revelation about our judges, including the SCOTUS, without having to cross post, or having to start a new thread that gets lost in the mix.
I actually intended to put some cites here, not just the link to two existing threads I mentioned directly above, but, well, work. Now that I have a moment:

A bit more about fellow disgrace Alito:
According to the Times, Schenck encouraged allies and wealthy donors to his organization to “invite some of the justices to meals, to their vacation homes or to private clubs,” and to contribute an estimated minimum of $125,000 to the Supreme Court Historical Society and “then mingle with justices at its functions.” Schenck also “ingratiated himself with court officials who could help give him access.”
“You can position yourself in a special category with regard to the Justices,” Schenck told the paper. “You can gain access, have conversations, share prayer.”
This is from November of 2022 (so approx 6 months old now) and with no investigations, no confirmation that I have found yet, but matches well with the patterns we’re seeing for Thomas, so figured it should be here as well.
Anyway, I seriously we’ll be lacking more horrible examples as time goes by, but wanted to put a bit more meat that was missing from my OP, so apologies to all.
