For the first time since I started my Disney site almost ten years ago, I have someone who actually wants to advertise on it (banner ads.) I never set it up thinking that I would have advertising, but now that I might I have not a clue what to charge or how to go about it. What’s the going rates for online advertising and what is it based on?

I know this won’t be helpful but the answer is ‘it depends’. Fro my game site we generally get a couple grand a month per ad banner. But we have a good amount of impressions and a historically great click-thru rate.
