I received a message in my LinkedIn inviting me to apply for part time remote work evaluating how AI’s handle mathematical proofs. It’s something I could do, and might even enjoy, and the extra cash would certainly be welcome.
But how can I be sure that’s not just a trick to get my SSN and bank information? Anyone here have experience with this sort of thing?
Do some research on them online, and also ask them for a few workers you can talk to in your general area. If they ask for your SSN, any bank information, or any personal information upfront that’s a pretty good sign they aren’t legit.
If they seem to be a legit organization, and they happen to be located in the US, contact their local Better Business Bureau and see what they can tell you.
