Personally, I think the “winners” are the cities that get bypassed! Why would any city be eager to shell out billions of dollars to subsidize the Olympics? Why not pick one city (Athens would be fine by me) as permanent host? Is there ANY good reason to build hundreds of brand new facilities every 4 years???
