Only speak good of the dead. Lindsey Graham is dead. Good

Or a teapot?

The furrows in her forehead are deep enough to meet her brain soon.

As popular as that may be I think the rule of 3s would require it be another Senator. That’s why I mentioned Collins earlier. At least that would be a clean restart to the race in Maine.

I’m wondering if he had a meeting with Vance?

Boy if that doesn’t sound like a euphemism

I’m hearing the drone factory he was visiting yesterday in Kiev was blown up. There is speculation that his “sudden illness” was exploditis.

No, you are not. Here’s William Browder, who has a stellar reputation as an expert on Russia:

Loathe as I am to associate myself with Laura Loomer—there is reason to examine this death closely.

Will Donald allow it? He wouldn’t want to annoy Vlad. But on the other hand, if he starts to believe that Vlad was sending him a message with this death, he might want to get the facts nailed down. (I know, that doesn’t sound like a Trump thing at all…)

Eh. That strikes me as pure conspiracy mongering to rile up the MAGAs.

The preliminary report from the medical examiner is an “aortic dissection.” From Google: “An aortic dissection is a tear in the main artery carrying blood away from the heart. This can cause the aorta (the body’s largest artery) to rupture.”

So, unless the medical examiner is lying this seems pretty obvious for any medical examiner to spot with ease (ease for the trained examiner).

They sacrificed Lady G to bring McConnell’s soul back from Hell, didn’t they?

Browder wouldn’t be involved in that. (Which is not to say that his opinion is the same as fact–just that asking questions is reasonable in the circumstances.)

A tear in a main artery does sound non-toxin-related (not that I’m knowledgeable on the topic).

As for Mitch resurfacing: hmn. He fell in a Capitol hallway last October. Then went home. Then had another fall, in June 2026? Where? Then someone called an ambulance. Reliable accounts are still claiming that cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed, but the July 12 release says he “didn’t have a heart attack” and was merely unconscious.

And apparently he didn’t mention Lindsey’s death.

Room for a new pair of lips on… ehhh! Don’t wanna think about it!

That makes so much sense.

Putin’s agents might be able to assassinate random folks on the street in Kyiv. But if they could assassinate VIPs with heavy security in Kyiv, then Zelenskyy would have been dead years ago.

I was trying to make some joke about a drone following him all the way home. But they’re so advanced now, nothing sounds outlandish.

I had wondered if he’d been given some kind of long-acting poison, but until the full tox screen comes back in a couple months, we won’t know.

To speak in words he should understand as a Southerner. Bless his heart.

And we’ve got our first concrete accusation from an AMAB who says Lady G paid them for sex.

Well, Kyiv isn’t the only place Lindsey was.

Anyway, as far as ‘opposition to Putin,’ we don’t know the stance of Graham’s (at least temporary) replacement: his sister.

Darline Graham Nordone has been working for the South Carolina Commission for the Blind–a (gasp) advocacy group for DISABLED people. Already she’s on the wrong side of today’s GOP.

Does she also fail to want to give Putin everything he wants? We’ll get a chance to see with her vote on the upcoming ‘sanctions on Russia’ bill. (I would bet that she’ll vote exactly as Donald wants—not as Lindsey would have wanted.)

BTW I’m seeing ONLY Fox News as confirming that the SC governor did appoint her. All the other outlets are from a few hours ago and simply say ‘Trump urges SC governor to appoint the sister’ and the like.

(I won’t link; you can find it if necessary.)

Well, it’s in the Times, now.

Lindsey Graham’s Sister Appointed to Finish His Senate Term

From the article:

Gov. Henry McMaster of South Carolina said on Monday that he would appoint Senator Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, to finish his Senate term, after Mr. Graham’s death on Saturday.

“It is my honor to ask his little sister, Darline Graham, to finish his work for him now,” Mr. McMaster said at a news conference held in the Statehouse in Columbia, S.C.

Ms. Nordone, standing next to Mr. McMaster, said it would be a “privilege to get to finish” some of her brother’s work.
