Hey, I am probably going to go see this because I know it’ll at least be interesting. I mean, the guy’s pretty smart, and is obviously able to manipulate the market he sells to. Tim Burton should also make this quite interesting. Give it a chance, it might just be brilliant.

Ya know, Marilyn Manson isn’t the original human being. As Rilchiam noted Mr. Brian Warner is the man behind the evil effigy. He was a nerd in High School, and no one figured he’d amount to anything. I don’t think it’s actually gonna be Willy Wonka played by MM, but Willy Wonka played by Mr. Warner. As mentioned before, MM’s due for a image change, and this could really turn peoples’ heads. I still think the movie is going to be spectacular.
Daily Radar confirmed it. No one has been cast nor to direct as of yet (thought Burton is at the top of the list). The really scary thing is that on that list is -get this- David Cronenberg. Yea Scanner’s and VideoDrome David Cronenberg.
Sheesh and the original was already schmaltzy with the psychedelia. Can you imagine if the ‘King of venereal horror’ got a hold of this movie?

Ohh. Willy Wonka and his Saccharine Sweet Factory of Hell was a staple of my youth. And now they’re going to change it.
But that boat ride scene was scary enough. Not even Tim Burton can make that trippier.
Well…I guess I’m vaguely interested. The same way I’m interested in watching a house burn down, or a Scooby Doo live action movie. (Any word on that?)
I just heard that it’s gonna be Gary Ross (Pleasantville) directing.
When I first heard that a remake of Willy Wonka was in the works, Nicolas Cage was mentioned for the role of Wonka. I just couldn’t see MM in the role. He’s weird enough but just not the right man for the job. Now Nicolas Cage, I could definatley see him in the role. I can’t wait to see what they finally end up doing.
