Thanks alot, LifeIllustrator. Maybe they’ll fix that in OOTP5.

Hey, Zev!
I’ve still not been able to get into the League Message Boards.
Zev, is it possible that you only simmed 1 week?
Zev, I can’t remember my password on the message board.
BTW: John Smith! If that is his real name! Three homers!!! Woo hoo!
Kingston’s catching up.
It’s possible. Wednesday night was a bit hectic at home and I was constantly being interrupted. It’s possible I may have only done one week. If so, let it stand…

I’m game. I sort of like the 1 week every 2-3 days thing.
But I’m really treating the first year as an experiment to figure out how the game works.
I agree. Gives us the opportunity to take more of a hands-on approach.
But makes Zev do more work.
Agreed. That’s the only reason I haven’t given a hearty “let’s do it!” yet.
I can’t promise at this point that I can do a twice-a-week sim, but I’ll look into it.

For what it’s worth, I think doing two weeks of baseball every week is sufficient. Zev’s doing enough for us and reviewing our teams every two weeks should be sufficient.
Yeah, don’t get me wrong. I would prefer shorter intervals. But Zev has to determine what he wants to do.
All hall Zev!
I’d vote for two sims a week, or just one week of game-time during a sim. But, I ain’t the one running the league, so it’s your call, Zev.
I shudder to think what “halling” entails…

Something about sweeping out the broadcasters wing of the Hall of Fame, I think.
Maybe right after the induction ceremony. You know how those journalists get.
I’ve spent the last three virtual months just seeing how the program works and how it handles players and such.
Now I’ve just got done spending 2 hours screwing around with and making changes.
Zev, thanks again. I can’t tell you how much fun this is.
Hey!
I just pissed off my Shortstop!
Heh.
You better like the look of the FA market, then.
In my solitaire game, every time I made a player mad I got him for way cheaper in the offseason (my franchise player, my star left fielder, was making about $8.5, I was offering him about $13 for 5 and he was saying no, I signed him as an FA for $10.5 for 6). The same may not hold true when you’re dealing with unpredictable human-type opposing managers.
