Maybe someone can take you on as an associate owner and we’ll expand next season. After all, we’re already 1/13th of the way through the season.

jk, we may someday do an expansion. If so, I’ll keep you in mind. Keep in mind that we’d need a minimum of four more to do an expansion. Of course, if an existing owner drops out, there would be an opening too. If so, I’ll just bump up this thread.

No. In order for the schedule creator to create a schedule, you have to have an even number of teams in the league.
OOTP doesn’t support interleague play. OOTP5 is coming out in the spring and they might. Of course, we’d also have to convince the other owners to spring for an upgrade - so I wouldn’t count on it.

I just saw this thread ofr the first time. I am a (co)commissioner of an OOTP4 league. We based it on the Japanese Baseball League structure, and then expanded by 4 teams last season. We are currently heading into our 5th season of play.

Thanks, LifeIllustrator. This is my time running a league and have hit a few bumps and bruises along the way.
In any event, I do have one question for you. When I sim games, a dialog box comes up after each game asking me if I want to generate a game log. Is there any way to disable this and have it just generate the logs without my having to hit “Yes” after each and every game? I searched but could not find a setting to do this.

No you cannot disable that for online leagues. You have to hit the button (I hit no) after every game. A pain, I know.
Usually, the offseason is when things come up. The OOTP boards are a pretty good resource, but again, feel free to emial me, or post at my leagues board with a question. We have some pretty knowledable people when it comes to OOTP
