The Chicago Architecture Foundation has released the locations of it’s open house sites for the upcoming extravaganza, October 15 and 16. Is anyone going? Do you have any recommendations to visit from the 200 or so architectural marvels on display? I visited the Elks Memorial a few years ago and it was amazing.
Is Mr. Downtown still around? Do you have any recommendations or preferences?
That’s a pretty impressive list this year.
Architects’ offices can be mighty interesting because you see some crazy stuff being built (or just pondered) from around the world.
Not sure where I’ll station myself this year, as what I enjoy most is telling people about the other buildings they can see from the windows and might want to know about. I’ll probably choose Aon Center or Cité at the top of Lake Point Tower.
