open on sunday?

hey… are stores in the states open on sunday? if so, what are their hours like?

we want to go to radio shack in buffalo tomorrow.

hoorah.

Almost without fail…they do have shortened hours most of the time, but not always. I’m guessing Sunday Radio Shack hours would be 10 to 5 or maybe noon to 6, something like that.

Retail never takes a holiday.

Stores close maybe an hour or two earlier on Sunday nights, and most that are regularly open (9 a.m. to 10 p.m.) every day will close at 5 p.m. (and probably not open at all on Sunday) if located in the business district.

In other words: go to Radio Snack in a mall any day of the week, go to Radio Snack downtown only between 9-5.

open on sundays? is this the United States?

whatever

Weekday Hours are generally like 9-9 for most stores these days. Then 9-7 or 9-5 on Saturdays and 10-4 or the like on Sundays. Of course, it always varies from store to store and with zoning regulations. You can’t find a 24hr Walgreens around here regardless of what the commercials say due to zoning. In fact, two of the closest close at 8pm.

US retail? They may doze but they never close.

In general, U.S. stores do stay open on Sundays. There are some exceptions, though.

Paramus, NJ is a retail Mecca, but they still have blue laws there, so the stores are closed on Sunday.

I remember the Pennsylvania Blue Laws. The only establishments open on Sunday were Movie Theaters & Soda Parlors. Also, all stores closed at noon on Wednesday & Saturday. Thankfully, thoes day have past!
RS should be open.
BTW, Mr. Trout, I will be in Toronto 46-4/10. Look me up @ HoJo’s Selby & I’ll buy you a drink!
